Nicholas Moustacas has been working in the Accounting profession since 1989. Nicholas began his career in a 4 Partner Chartered Accounting Practice where he remained up until 1994. He then established RM Chartered Accountants based in Wollongong in 1995 and built the practice up to 7 staff. In 1998 the firm achieved the NSW Best Small Practice Award from the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

In 2002 he moved back to Sydney and established Strategic Wealth Management in Sydney’s CBD. He identified a large deficiency between a mainstream accounting practice and a tax/financial adviser.

Apart from being an active investor in property, shares and managed funds, Nicholas is also a registered Tax Agent, registered Company Auditor and a Justice of the Peace. Since 2005 Nicholas has been a regular speaker on tax structures and planning for property investors on behalf of ‘The Reno Kings’ in their Property to the Max seminars. The seminars are generally held in Brisbane and he is a guest speaker along with the founders Paul Eslick and Geoff Doidge.

In 2006, along with some other like minded investors, Nicholas became a founding director and contributed to the establishment of an online forum and education portal for investors www.invested.com.au At the time of writing, membership was in excess of 3500 and growing rapidly. Membership is free and provides a valuable resource for all investors.

Out of work Nicholas is a keen football supporter and a family man. He has pulled the boots back on to play over 35s soccer in 2008 and providing he remains injury free he has the full support of his wife. Nick enjoys a nice glass or two of red wine and spends much of his spare time researching property or playing with his 3 young daughters.

Maggie Ehnhuus, Director

Maggie moved from a career in management to begin a new career in financial planning in October 2000. Over the next 5 years, Maggie’s experience includes positions as a financial planner with two of Australia's largest financial institutions and   working as a General Manager of a boutique financial planning practice as well as working as an adviser in that business.

In February 2005 Maggie started her own planning business. In October 2006 Nick and Maggie began SWM Financial Planning and Maggie brought her business under the new banner. With the new company in place Nick and Maggie work collaboratively with their clients to find optimum solutions.

Cathy Chitty

Administration Manager

Cathy joined us as our Administration Manager in February 2007. You will probably liaise with Cathy as your initial point of contact when you contact our office. Apart from being Nicks personal assistant, Cathy is also responsible for all administration procedures including lodgment of tax returns, set up of trusts, superfunds and company structures and an endless list of other tasks.

Cathy is married to David and has two sons which keep her very busy on the cricket and rugby side lines.

Janis Eyles

Administration/Accounts

Janis joined us in 2005 and works with our Administration team. Janis manages our ASIC corporate registers as well being our in-house bookkeeper and is responsible of the maintenance of our debtors ledger. Janis also maintains our database, pays our accounts and assists with the maintenance of our computer systems. She is involved in a variety of administration procedures and will also set up trusts, superfund’s and company structure.

Janis moved to Australia from USA with her Aussie husband and two children. She is also a fully trained physiotherapist and admits to enjoying a fine glass of red.

Khai Le

Accountant

Khai has been apart of our Accounting team since February 2007 and has been working in the Accounting industry for the last 10 years. He is currently completing his Masters of Accounting part time with the Charles Sturt University which he will complete in 2009.

Khai is our superannuation expert and also responsible for the preparation of financial reports and taxation for individuals, trusts, company’s and superannuation funds.

Khai trained to be a Physics Teacher in Vietnam but resorted to the exciting world of Accounting once coming to Australia. Khai enjoys his weekends with his two boys and wife Oanh who makes the world’s best rice paper rolls.

Linda Tai

Accountant

Linda has been an Accountant at SWM since July 2006. She is responsible for the preparation of financial reports and taxation for individuals, trusts, companies and superannuation funds. Linda also has expertise in Fringe Benefit Tax and Payroll Tax and has developed skills in the preparation of budgeting, cash flow and consolidation. Linda has been working in the taxation and accounting environment for over 5 years and is currently near completion of her CPA.

Linda was also a volunteer for Salvation Army during her university years and was awarded twice for her achievement in her post graduate studies by university. Linda enjoys bushwalking and anything related to nature and wildlife. In her spare time you can find Linda bushwalking or in the lorikeet chatting club. Linda is currently on maternity leave.

Martina Wutzke

Accountant

Martina Joined our team at SWM in April 2009. With over 20 years experience in the accountant profession she has worked with a variety of small to medium sized businesses in various industries helping them to not only meet their tax obligations but grow and develop their businesses.

Martina is responsible for the preparation of financial reports and taxation returns for individuals, trusts, companies and superannuation funds. Martina will hold a senior position in the firm and will also be assisting Nick in dealing with complex taxation matters.

In her spare time you might find Martina cooking up a storm in the kitchen, chasing a tennis ball around the court, painting (pictures, not walls!) or doing some other creative exploit that doesn't involve number crunching.

Seven joined our team at SWM in Oct 2009. He is responsible for preparation of financial reports and tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies and superannuation funds. Seven came from main land China 5 years ago to study for his masters degree. After completion of his masters degree and all segments of his CPA in 2007,  he has worked as a public accountant.

Seven enjoys jazz or bossa nova, which is his background music during dinner every night. Cooking and badminton are his favourite activities. Particularly, he likes to cook spicy dishes with attractive color and wonderful taste. To contact Seven please use our contact form.
